11 New All-Inclusives to Visit in 2022

All-inclusive resorts have been beloved for decades for embracing the concept of including dining and other experiences with the price of the stay. These 11 new resorts have already opened or will open later this year. While they’re each all-inclusive and feature modern design and furnishings, they offer different experiences, concepts and destinations to explore. Sandals Royal Curaçao
The newly opened Sandals Royal Curaçao is the first Sandals resort on the Dutch Caribbean island and offers plenty of brand firsts for guests of the 350-room resort, including Island Inclusive, the brand’s first off-site dining program, the Dos Awa Infinity Pool, a bi-level swimming pool, two new butler bungalows, seven new restaurants and much more across the resort’s 3,000-acre property.
Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort
The 735-room Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort is located in lush Tulum, Mexico right along the beach. Its modern facade and natural scenery offer an “eco-chic” all-inclusive concept. Everything from the resort’s 13 dining areas to daily cultural and fitness activities and a personal concierge are included in a stay at the resort. With a spa and included activities for kids and teens, families can enjoy a wide variety of experiences to keep busy, like crafting workshops using recycled materials or excursions to the nearby Mayan ruins.
Secrets Moxche Playa del Carmen
AMR Collection added a new all-inclusive to their portfolio in Mexico this April with the 485-suite Secrets Moxche Playa del Carmen. The resort features a variety of amenities, including seven pools, 11 restaurants, three man-made cenotes and The Spa by Penovia. Travelers looking to get away with some extra perks can stay in the resort’s Preferred Club accommodations, which include perks like a private lounge and bar, a breakfast area and a rooftop area with a pool, restaurant and lounge overlooking the sea.
Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya
The adults-only Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya will open for stays beginning December 1, 2022. The resort is in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, six miles from Playa del Carmen and with close proximity to the Cancun Airport and many other area attractions. The all-suite resort will feature lush grounds, a beautiful white sand beach and eight restaurants, bars and lounges, as well as a spa. Accommodations include swim-up suite options, all designed with a modern, natural palette.
Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort
Located between a lush mangrove reserve and the turquoise Caribbean Sea, the new Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort offers 100 acres of coastline with 12 restaurants, a large convention center, health club, spa and much more. Accommodations are modern and range from guestrooms to one- or two-bedroom suites, with oceanview, wraparound balcony or swim-up options available. All-inclusive experiences include cultural activities such as pottery or traditional crafting workshops, along with daily fitness classes and a wide variety of complimentary non-motorized watersports activities.
Villa La Valencia Beach Resort & Spa
The new Villa La Valencia Beach Resort & Spa is located in Los Cabos, Mexico, complete with a gorgeous beachfront on Golden Beach, a large lazy river and an infinity pool. Its 308 suites range from traditional suites offering one to two bedrooms, to the Unique Suites category, featuring suites that can accommodate groups of up to 12. The all-inclusive resort boasts gourmet cuisine and ample daily activities, including a large offering of excursions.
Royal Uno All-Inclusive Resort & Spa
The Royal Uno All-Inclusive Resort & Spa made its debut earlier this July in Cancun’s famed Hotel Zone. The 540-room resort is family-friendly and offers five restaurants, two more of which will open later in the summer, along with its spa. The property features two large pools, a pool for children, a kids’ club, a watersports lagoon and a Family Room for curated activities. The resort boasts a modern design and furnishings and is located 20 minutes from the Cancun Airport and just 10 minutes from Cancun’s main shopping attractions.
Dreams Karibana Cartagena Beach & Golf Resort
AMR Collection debuted its first-ever all-inclusive resort in South America earlier this April in Cartagena, Colombia. The Dreams Karibana Cartagena Beach & Golf Resort is a half-hour drive from Cartagena and offers a beautiful beach, golf course and more. With its Unlimited-Luxury format, guests can enjoy all-inclusive benefits and a variety of different room options, including Club Level accommodations, which provide perks like a Preferred Club beach area, an exclusive restaurant, pillow menu and much more.
Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort & Spa
Opening this September is the new Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort & Spa, a luxury development on the island of Cozumel in the Mexican Caribbean. The resort will offer a variety of different accommodation styles and feature a beach area, kids’ club, a spa, several pools and five dining options. Adult guests of the resort can also enjoy access to the nearby Secrets Aura Cozumel and Sunscape Sabor Cozumel resorts and their dining options.
The Waldorf Astoria Cancun Resort
Just 15 minutes from the Cancun Airport and located within a lush mangrove preserve is the upcoming Waldorf Astoria Cancun Resort, a luxury resort featuring 173 suites, all offering private balconies and plunge pools. The resort features several different restaurants, an adults-only pool, a family pool and a spa pool, a large beach area and much more. The Waldorf Astoria Cancun Resort will open on November 1, 2022.
Margaritaville St. Somewhere Resort Punta Coco
The Margaritaville St. Somewhere Resort Punta Coco on Mexico’s Holbox Island opened earlier this spring. The casual-luxury boutique resort offers the brand’s signature Margaritaville flair with 39 all-suite accommodation options. Located on Holbox Island, where there are no cars, guests can enjoy a secluded tropical paradise with close proximity to the Yum Balam Biosphere Reserve, bioluminescent waters, mangrove forests and great snorkeling opportunities, including an opportunity to swim with whale sharks.
