Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., are asking the Federal Trade Commission to do more to protect consumers from travel scams, including people posing as travel advisors. The FTC reports that fraud has cost US consumers $400 million since the pandemic began.
