2021 hotel pipeline kept pace with 2020, study finds

The 2021 global hotel construction pipeline stayed even with 2020 in terms of room count while dipping only 1% by projects, Lodging Econometrics reports. There were 6,101 hotels being built and a total pipeline of 13,770 at year’s end, according to the analytics firm’s “Global Hotel Construction Pipeline Trend Report.”
