$20B development in Chicago hinges on state funds

Landmark Development is planning a $20 billion mixed-use megadevelopment near Chicago’s Soldier Field that includes towers as tall as 89 stories and would add 1.5 million square feet of hotel space, more than 9,000 residences, dining and retail. It depends on billions of dollars in state funds that may not be forthcoming.
