321 Precision expands A321 conversion capacity through HAECO
321 Precision Conversions will expand its capacity through an agreement with HAECO Xiamen as it looks to meet high demand for A321 conversions.
The A321 aircraft passenger-to-freighter conversion work will be performed at HAECO Xiamen’s facility, beginning in February 2022.
Meanwhile, HAECO Americas commences conversion services to 321 Precision Conversions at its Lake City, Florida facility starting from January 2022.
Gary Warner, president of 321 Precision Conversions, said: “Since 2009, HAECO Xiamen has been a great partner on our B757-200PCF program demonstrating high quality and efficiency.
“Expanding the A321-200PCF conversions into HAECO Xiamen was an easy decision as we continue to expand conversion kit capacity to meet high customer demand. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
Jacqueline Jiang, chief operating officer of HAECO Xiamen, said: “The partnership with Precision started in 2009. Thanks to Precision for their trust, we are delighted to see our cargo conversion partnership extended from Boeing 757 to Airbus 321. We look forward to providing a wider service to Precision with our comprehensive capability including parts manufacturing.”
Earlier this week, a joint venture (JV) formed by Zetland Capital Partners and Greenwich Highland Aviation (GHA) secured four A321-200PCF conversion slots with 321 Precision Conversions. aircargonews.net
