$800M development with hotel approved in Texas

Construction is expected to begin this summer on a $800 million mixed-use development on North Padre Island in Texas. The Whitecap Preserve, which was approved Tuesday by the Corpus Christi City Council, will span 242 acres, with 50 acres for commercial purposes and separate areas for residences, a hotel, marina and nature preserve, according to a news release.
