85-week high recorded; hotel occupancy nears 2019 mark

US hotel occupancy reached 68% for the week of June 13-19, its best in 85 weeks and just 9.9% below the comparable 2019 level, STR reports. Average daily rate and revenue per room also reached new heights for the pandemic period.
