The search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 is set to resume on December 30, 2025, nearly 12 years after the aircraft disappeared in the Indian Ocean.
Under a service agreement with the Malaysian government, marine exploration firm Ocean Infinity will conduct a 55-day targeted seabed survey in an area assessed to have the highest likelihood of locating parts of the Boeing 777. The contract is structured so that payment is contingent on locating significant wreckage.
This phase of the search follows previous international efforts and recent weather-related pauses earlier in 2025. The renewed operation reflects ongoing commitments to understanding what happened to Flight MH370 and providing answers after more than a decade. |
