Aruba Airport welcomes British Airways flights

Starting March 26, 2023, British Airways will fly Boeing 777s to Aruba year-round, on Thursday and Sunday, with a stop in Antigua.

During the visit, the British Airways team was hosted on behalf of AAA by our Chief Executive Officer, Mr, Joost Meijs, Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Jurgen Benschop, Chief Revenue Development and Communications Officer, Ms. Barbara Brown, Aviation Business Development Executive, Ms. Jo-Anne Meaux Arends, and our Operations Manager, Ms. Marylou v/d Linden.

Also present was Aruba Tourism Authority’s CEO, Ms. Ronella Croes and CMO, Ms. Sanju Luidens.

The British Airways delegation led by Mr. Ian Blackman, Vice President Florida, Latin America, and the Caribbean was presented with the latest information on the Airport’s operation logistics as an introduction prior to commencement of the airline’s London service to Aruba. The operational delegation of British Airways was further represented also by Mrs. Patrice Skerritt, Regional Director Airports, Mrs. Sonia Kanda, Project Manager and Mr. Wayne Crump, Station Maintenance Manager (Engineering).

During the visit, the team received a tour of the airport, including the Terminal and Airside areas.
