Starlux Airlines Expands Los Angeles-Taipei Route and Introduces Luxury Amenities

STARLUX Airlines, known for its exceptional service and unique offerings, has increased the frequency of its intercontinental route between Los Angeles and Taipei. Initially operating five flights a week, the airline now offers daily flights, providing passengers with more convenient travel options. Along with the increased frequency, travelers on these flights can indulge in the airline’s new and exclusive “Home-in-the-Air” amenities.

STARLUX has collaborated with renowned Italian luxury brands FPM and Bric’s Milano, as well as Samsonite RED, to design a special series of co-branded amenity kits. These kits are available exclusively on the Los Angeles-Taipei route and offer passengers a luxurious travel experience. To add an exciting touch, the airline has introduced sports-themed amenities. Passengers flying from LAX to TPE can enjoy LA Dodgers-themed amenities, while those traveling from TPE to LAX will be treated to LA Clippers-themed amenities.

In addition to the enhancements on the Los Angeles-Taipei route, STARLUX has also announced Spider-Verse-themed flights in collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation’s film, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. As part of the “Travel Like a Superhero” campaign, passengers on all Asian routes can look forward to Spider-Verse goodies in all classes. This collaboration aims to make the travel experience truly extraordinary and superhero-like.

CEO Glenn Chai expressed his excitement about the increased frequency of the LAX-TPE route, stating that it allows passengers to travel comfortably between major cities in North America and Asia. The exclusive amenities from luxury brands, as well as the sports-themed amenities, align with STARLUX’s commitment to providing a memorable and luxurious flying experience.

The “Home-in-the-Air” amenities on STARLUX’s long-haul flights aim to create a pleasant and comfortable environment for passengers. First Class travelers will receive an amenity kit co-branded with FPM, featuring luxurious cosmetics from Rituals and a custom-designed blanket by Loro Piana.

  • Business Class passengers will enjoy amenity kits resembling Bric’s suitcases, along with stress-relieving products from Huygens.
  • Premium Economy passengers will receive Samsonite RED series kits and double-sided blankets.
  • Economy Class travelers can enjoy eco-friendly amenity kits adorned with Taiwanese Aboriginal totems.

For intercontinental flights, STARLUX has introduced LA Dodgers-themed amenities on the LAX-TPE route and LA Clippers-themed amenities on the TPE-LAX route. These themed amenities include meal packaging, playing cards, eye masks, luggage tags, and boarding passes, all tailored to showcase the spirit of these iconic sports teams.

Furthermore, passengers on Asian flights will be delighted by Spider-Man-themed amenities inspired by Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. From boarding passes to stickers and luggage tags, the curated themed amenities create an immersive onboard environment. Spider-Verse elements can be found on items such as paper cups, napkins, children’s meal boxes, and a special edition of STARLUX Airlines’ popular playing cards.
