Brightline Unveils Enhanced Digital Experience in Anticipation of Expanded Service
Ahead of expanded service connecting Miami and Orlando, the Brightline intercity rail has unveiled a new digital experience. The company announced a redesigned website and native mobile app available for both iOS and Android devices. The changes feature a cutting-edge backend system, modern and intuitive design, and multiple upgraded features.
The company said this will transform the booking process into a fast, dependable, and frictionless system. All guest information, including tickets and monthly passes, will automatically be migrated to the new system.
Key features of the new digital experience include:
Design: drawing on insights from hundreds of guest studies and over a thousand hours of design research, an intuitive interface has been crafted, making it easier to book a journey.
New native app and redesigned website: the refined architecture will offer guests a new look that feels more intuitive with native iOS and Android prompts within the app.
Speed to book: the native app will provide lightning-fast performance, reliability, and added security. A seamless booking experience allows guests to book their ticket in half the clicks.
Offline ticketing: ticket accessibility is now available offline. Guests need not worry about being connected to Wi-Fi to scan their tickets. Simply book a ticket in advance, and the mobile app will be ready and accessible.
Brightline’s mobile ticketing platform is powered by S3 Passenger, the inventory, ticketing, and reservation system offered by Sqills, a Siemens Mobility subsidiary. After VIA Rail, Brightline is the second Siemens Mobility customer in North America.
Guests can purchase tickets for service between Orlando and South Florida (Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach) from September through early 2024 at gobrightline.com or by downloading the app. One-way SMART fares start at $79 for adults and $39 for children. One-way PREMIUM fares start at $149.
