Passenger Disruption on American Airlines Flight Traced to Marketing Executive
The woman responsible for causing a disturbance on a July American Airlines flight has been identified as Tiffany Gomas, a 38-year-old marketing executive based in Dallas, Texas. Gomas was caught on video shouting at fellow passengers and making unusual claims before being escorted off the plane. In the video, she referred to a passenger as “not real” and expressed concerns reminiscent of the “Final Destination” horror movie series.
Reports from The New York Post, which obtained police documents related to the incident, reveal that Gomas was traveling with her family from Dallas-Fort Worth to Orlando, Florida on July 2. An argument ensued among her family members over missing AirPods, during which she accused them of theft. She further voiced concerns about the safety of the plane and expressed a desire not to fly on it.
Despite efforts from flight attendants to calm her down, Gomas persisted in her disruptive behavior. She singled out another passenger, claiming he was “not real,” and predicted doom for everyone on the plane in his presence. Gomas proceeded to walk through the aisle and demanded to disembark. Law enforcement was summoned, and she was removed from the aircraft. The incident caused a three-hour delay for the flight.
Although Gomas received a criminal trespass notice from police, she did not sign it, and no formal charges were filed against her. Gomas holds the position of vice president at Elevate Brand Marketing, a firm specializing in experiential marketing and events. She resides in a $2 million residence in Dallas with her husband and children.
