McDan Aviation (Ghana) has secured a commercial passenger air carrier’s license from the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). The license authorizes the business charter operator to conduct chartered passenger and cargo services in both domestic and international markets. While specific expansion plans were not disclosed, the company mentioned the creation of additional job opportunities and hinted at upcoming “domestic and international” operations.

McDan Aviation currently operates a Bombardier Challenger 604 (registration T7-MCDAN), a Beech King Air B200, and an Airbus Helicopters EC135 T1. The airline has held a cargo license since 2017. The move into passenger services marks McDan Aviation’s commitment to contributing to Ghana’s aviation sector and aims to revolutionize air travel within the country and beyond, according to Daniel McKorley, the founder of McDan Group.

The Ghanaian carrier did not provide further details when responding to inquiries.
