The Lufthansa Group’s leisure airline, previously known as Eurowings Discover, has unveiled its transformation into Discover Airlines (4Y), marking a significant milestone with a dynamic new brand identity. This rebranding initiative encompasses a name change and a visual makeover, signaling a fresh chapter for the airline as Germany’s leading leisure carrier under the Lufthansa Group umbrella. The new brand, Discover Airlines, embodies the joy and excitement of travel, inviting passengers to explore and rediscover the world’s most enchanting destinations.

The airline introduced the first Airbus A320, adorned with the new livery and registered as D-AIUR, at Frankfurt Airport (FRA), setting the stage for its inaugural passenger flight to Palma de Mallorca on September 6. This visual evolution is not just a name change but a comprehensive reimagining of the airline’s aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the serene blues of skies and oceans, complemented by sunny yellow accents, capturing the essence of holiday vistas.

Under the revised brand identity, Discover Airlines aims to redefine its stature as the Lufthansa Group’s quintessential leisure airline in Germany. The rebranding retains recognizable elements, such as the lowercase “discover” with a dot, now enhanced with the addition of “Airlines” to further define its identity. This continuity, paired with new design features, underscores Discover Airlines’ autonomy while maintaining a strong connection to its Lufthansa Group lineage, evident in the “Member of Lufthansa Group” inscription on the aircraft fuselage.

The rollout of the new brand identity commences with the redesigned Airbus A320, signaling a phased transition across digital platforms, airport signage, and onboard elements to align with the vibrant new image.
