This comprehensive analysis, based on thousands of consumer quotes and transactions, spotlights the most favored cruise lines, ships, and destinations this spring, highlighting evolving preferences among travelers.

Royal Caribbean International leads the premium segment, maintaining its position at the forefront, closely followed by Celebrity Cruises and Carnival Cruise Line. In the luxury sector, Oceania Cruises captures the top spot, with Cunard Line and Seabourn also drawing significant interest. For those venturing along rivers, American Cruise Lines tops the list, with Viking and AmaWaterways completing the top three.

The newly launched Icon of the Seas by Royal Caribbean dominates demand among premium cruise ships, with Symphony of the Seas, Wonder of the Seas, and Allure of the Seas also generating substantial interest. Oceania Vista, Azamara Journey, and Queen Mary 2 are the luxury vessels of choice, while American Harmony, American Serenade, and AmaMagna are the river cruising favorites.

Florida emerges as the prime departure point for Caribbean-bound premium cruises, with Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Port Canaveral leading as the top departure ports. When it comes to planning, premium cruise enthusiasts tend to book an average of 223 days ahead of departure, with March, April, May, and June 2024 being the preferred months. River cruisers plan even further in advance, with a 323-day booking window, favoring June, May, and August 2024. Luxury cruisers typically book 260 days ahead, with July, June, and August 2024 emerging as the most popular months for sailing.
