MSC Cruises Expands Its Offerings in Central Florida with a Second Ship at Port Canaveral for Winter 2025-2026

MSC Cruises has announced a significant expansion of its vacation options from Central Florida, planning to introduce a second ship at Port Canaveral for the winter season of 2025-2026. This strategic move will allow MSC to offer a broader range of cruise experiences, from 7-night Caribbean voyages to shorter excursions aimed at exploring the Bahamas.

Starting December 2025, the MSC Grandiosa will join the MSC Seashore to significantly enhance MSC Cruises’ capacity and itinerary variety in the region. The MSC Grandiosa is set to offer alternating seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, featuring diverse destinations such as Nassau, San Juan, Cozumel, and Belize City, among others. Concurrently, the MSC Seashore will cater to shorter vacation preferences with three and four-night sailings to Nassau and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.

Rubén A. Rodríguez, President of MSC Cruises USA, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, noting, “The Winter 2025-2026 season will mark our largest presence in the U.S. to date, and our expansion at Port Canaveral is a big part of that. This development is driven by the convenience our Central Florida departures offer, allowing guests to enjoy MSC Cruises’ distinctive international flavor.”

In addition to enhanced cruise offerings, MSC Cruises is set to upgrade the amenities and experiences at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, their private island. The next year will see improvements such as expanded excursion centers, additional food and beverage facilities, and upgraded swimming areas, including a new lagoon dedicated for children. These enhancements are part of MSC’s ongoing commitment to enriching guest experiences while conserving marine life and resources.
