Carnival Cruise Line Launches “Your Peek at Paradise” Series for Travel Advisors
Carnival Cruise Line has initiated a new event series titled “Your Peek at Paradise” specifically designed for travel advisors. This series commenced with its first event in Miami on Saturday, providing a platform for hundreds of travel advisors to gain an exclusive preview of Celebration Key, Carnival’s new private island destination located on Grand Bahama.
Celebration Key is set to become a key attraction for Carnival guests, with visits scheduled to start in July 2025. “All five of our ships homeported in Miami will visit Celebration Key, so bringing our great travel advisor partners in South Florida together for this special event was a great way to deliver valuable insight to them as they help their clients plan their next vacations,” said Adolfo M. Perez, senior vice president of global sales and trade marketing at Carnival Cruise Line.
During the kickoff event, travel advisors were treated to in-depth presentations from Perez and Glenn Aprile, Carnival’s senior director of brand experience and product development. The presentations covered the extensive creative process behind the development of Celebration Key. Attendees were also able to view large renderings of the island, enjoy an authentic Bahamian Junkanoo performance, and sample Bahamas-inspired cuisine.
Furthermore, travel advisors participated in a raffle, standing a chance to win an early access trip to Celebration Key before its public opening, among other prizes. Ten grand prize winners will be chosen throughout the summer series, and another 15 will receive a $500 Carnival gift card. Winners for some of these prizes were announced at the Miami event.
“Travel advisors are experts on what cruisers want, so their overwhelmingly positive reaction reinforces my confidence that Celebration Key will be a truly premiere destination,” Perez added.
The “Your Peek at Paradise” series will continue across the United States with future events planned for Baltimore on July 14, Atlanta on August 17, Chicago on September 14, and a concluding virtual event on the same day in September. These events aim to equip travel advisors with all the necessary information and tools to effectively introduce their clients to this new exciting destination.
