Chase and Marriott Bonvoy have introduced significant enhancements to the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card, offering card members new benefits aimed at enhancing their travel experiences and earning potential with Marriott Bonvoy points.

The revamped Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card now allows card members to earn more points towards free stays and Marriott Bonvoy Moments experiences. One of the standout features is the new Travel Now, Pay Later benefit, which enables cardmembers to split qualifying travel purchases into equal monthly payments with no interest or plan fees. This benefit applies to purchases ranging from $100 to $5,000 made directly with airlines or at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy, all while earning Marriott Bonvoy points on these purchases.

Cardholders can now earn 2X points on every $1 spent at grocery stores, as well as for rideshare services, select food delivery, streaming services, and internet, cable, and phone services. Additionally, they receive Automatic Marriott Bonvoy Silver Elite status annually, entitling them to perks such as Priority Late Checkout (when available) and 10% more points towards free stays and Marriott Bonvoy experiences.

Moreover, cardmembers will benefit from receiving five Elite Night Credits each calendar year, accelerating their progress towards higher Elite status levels within Marriott Bonvoy. This enhancement allows for earning up to 14X total points for every $1 spent at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy, and 1X point per $1 spent on all other purchases.

Khary Barnes, Managing Director and General Manager of Marriott Bonvoy Co-Brand Cards at Chase, emphasized the card’s appeal to younger audiences, stating, “The addition of new benefits and features resonates highly with Gen Z and Millennial audiences, particularly the 2X points on everyday purchases and the Travel Now, Pay Later benefit.”

David Flueck, Global Head of Loyalty, Cards, and Partnerships at Marriott Bonvoy, highlighted the card’s role in making travel aspirations more attainable, stating, “The enhanced Bold card means everyday purchases will quickly translate into free stays across the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, making it ideal for younger consumers.”

To mark the launch of these enhancements, the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card is offering its best-ever sign-up bonus: new cardmembers can earn 60,000 bonus points and one Free Night Award (valued up to 50,000 points) after spending $2,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.

With these enhancements, the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card aims to provide greater value and flexibility for travelers, reaffirming its position as a top choice for those looking to maximize their travel rewards and elite status benefits within Marriott Bonvoy.
