InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has announced a strategic partnership with the Timeshifter app, a cutting-edge solution designed to combat jetlag, as part of its commitment to enhancing guest experiences through its ‘Intentional Flexibility’ initiatives. The Timeshifter app, known for its utilization of the latest sleep science, offers personalized plans to mitigate jetlag based on an individual’s chronotype, sleep pattern, itinerary, and personal preferences.

Starting today, the app is accessible to all InterContinental guests globally for both their inbound and outbound journeys. This initiative is aligned with InterContinental’s broader strategy to evolve its luxury brand, which was detailed in an announcement last October. The partnership reflects the brand’s focus on leveraging innovative technology to meet the changing needs of modern luxury travelers.

In addition to the Timeshifter collaboration, InterContinental has introduced other enhancements aimed at improving guest wellbeing. Notably, 220 properties across the brand are rolling out new nutrition-focused meal options and a revolutionary guest room concept designed to foster restoration. These rooms, conceived by neuroscience-based designer Isabelle Sjövall, are part of the brand’s efforts to help guests manage travel fatigue effectively.
