Air Canada Unveils New Seasonal Routes for Summer 2025
Air Canada has announced an extensive lineup of new seasonal services for the summer 2025 season, alongside plans to increase capacity on some of its most sought-after routes across Europe, the United States, and Asia. Among the new and restored routes are flights from Montreal to Naples (Italy) and Porto (Portugal), as well as from Toronto to Prague (Czechia), Port of Spain (Trinidad and Tobago), and Ottawa to London.
During the summer of 2025, Air Canada will also enhance its service frequency to Rome and Athens, offering up to three daily flights to each destination from Canada. The airline plans to increase capacity between Toronto and Stockholm, reinstating up to four weekly flights, while service to Madrid will rise to daily frequencies. Flights to Paris will utilize the Boeing 777-300ER from both Toronto and Montreal, providing up to 1,300 daily seats with three daily flights to the French capital.
From Montreal, Air Canada will elevate service to Casablanca to daily flights, reflecting a 17% increase compared to its summer 2024 schedule. Additionally, the airline will introduce year-round, four-times-weekly service from Toronto to Port of Spain, enhancing connectivity to Trinidad and Tobago.
“Air Canada is pleased to provide our customers with a wide array of destinations for their Summer 2025 travel,” said Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President of Revenue and Network Planning. He emphasized the airline’s capability to offer over 100,000 weekly seats to 30 destinations across Europe and North Africa at the peak of the summer season.
Galardo highlighted new services to Southern Europe, including routes from Montreal to Naples and Porto, as well as the restoration of flights to Prague and London-Heathrow from Ottawa, marking a significant resumption of intercontinental service from Canada’s capital.
In total, Air Canada plans to offer over 100,000 weekly seats to Europe and North Africa and more than 160,000 to the US during the peak summer period, operating a global network that spans over 145 destinations across six continents. Within Canada, the airline will provide more flights than any other carrier, with over 75,000 daily seats and 600 daily flights to 50 airports.
On the transborder front, Air Canada will introduce new routes to Nashville from Vancouver and Cincinnati from Montreal, while resuming service to Jacksonville from Toronto. The airline will also add extra daily flights from Toronto to Indianapolis, Tampa, Boston, and Dallas-Fort Worth, alongside increased services from Montreal to Nashville, Denver, and Raleigh-Durham.
As the largest carrier in the Transborder market, Air Canada will offer over 200 daily flights to more than 45 destinations in summer 2025, adding 160,000 weekly seats to the US during this peak period.
Furthermore, the airline will enhance its capacity to key Asian markets by resuming summer seasonal services to Seoul from Montreal and Osaka from Toronto, utilizing its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet.
“Air Canada’s global network continues to bridge destinations across the six inhabited continents, and we look forward to welcoming our customers onboard with our enhanced Summer 2025 schedule,” Galardo concluded.
