Regency Jet Retires Sole Citation II, Streamlines Fleet

Regency Jet (LJC, Gloucestershire) has officially retired its only Citation II, G-MLBC (msn 550-0183), according to ch-aviation research. The aircraft, which was inducted into the UK-based charter company’s fleet in late August, is no longer listed under its Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
The 43.9-year-old Cessna Citation II had its last flight under Regency Jet’s ‘LJC’ code on September 29, 2024. The aircraft completed a journey from Kerry to Nottingham East Midlands, followed by a leg to London Southend. On October 25, 2024, the Citation II was re-registered in the UK as G-DONN, but it has yet to fly under this new registration. Originally Swiss-registered, the aircraft spent 24 years with Jet Aviation Business Jets (PP, Zurich) before being moved to the UK, where it was managed by several companies.
The retirement of the Citation II follows the recent departure of Regency Jet’s sole King Air B200 from the fleet. With these retirements, Regency Jet now operates a fleet of four aircraft. The updated fleet includes one Citation Bravo, one Pilatus Aircraft PC-24, and two Beech King Air B300s, which are twin turboprop aircraft.
Regency Jet’s streamlined fleet reflects the company’s ongoing focus on providing high-quality private jet charter services with a diverse range of aircraft options for its clientele. As the company moves forward with a smaller, more specialized fleet, it remains committed to maintaining the highest standards in private aviation.
