TCA – The Cargo Airlines, based in Tbilisi, has retired its sole business jet, a Hawker 800XPi, in September 2024, according to ch-aviation research. The jet, registered as 4L-VIP (msn 258612), is now listed for sale through Omni International Jet Trading, a U.S.-based aircraft sales company.

The aircraft last operated under TCA’s ‘N6’ code on September 16, flying between Istanbul Atatürk and Tbilisi. It returned to Istanbul on September 21, where it has remained parked. Configured to seat up to eight passengers, the 21.3-year-old jet was initially registered in the United States and later operated in Slovakia for 13 years before joining TCA in 2021.

With the retirement of the Hawker 800XPi, TCA no longer operates corporate jets and has shifted its focus to helicopter charter services. The company’s fleet now comprises two H125 Airbus Helicopters and two AW109 Leonardo Helicopters.

Founded in 2012 as a cargo airline, TCA initially operated a mix of narrowbody and widebody freighters. The last cargo aircraft were retired in 2021, marking the company’s transition to private flight services. This latest retirement underscores TCA’s strategic focus on helicopter charters, catering to a niche market in Georgia and surrounding regions.
