Comlux KZ has officially retired its last two Legacy 650 business jets in Kazakhstan, marking the end of the type’s operations in the country. The aircraft, formerly registered as UP-EM008 and UP-EM007, have been transferred to new registries.

UP-EM008, a 13.1-year-old jet configured for 14 passengers, completed its final flight under Kazakh registration on December 5, 2024, traveling from Almaty International to Istanbul Atatürk. It has since been reregistered in San Marino as T7-AFO but has not yet flown under its new registration.

UP-EM007, a 13-year-old aircraft seating up to 12 passengers, was retired earlier on November 14, 2024. Its last Kazakh-registered flight took it from Almaty International to Istanbul Atatürk, continuing to Riga. It was reactivated on December 13, 2024, under Latvia’s Union Aviation with the registration YL-ECT and flew to Dubai World Central.

Comlux KZ no longer operates the Legacy 650, focusing on a fleet that includes a Challenger 604, Challenger 850, Praetor 600, and Pilatus PC-24. Additionally, it manages an ACJ320-200N, ACJ321-200, and ACJ330-200 for Berkut, serving Kazakhstan’s government. A Challenger 605, registered in Bermuda, is also part of its operations.

This fleet shift underscores Comlux’s evolving focus on modern and efficient aircraft for executive and governmental travel.
