Volato Removes All Part 135 Jets After Fleet Transfer to FlyExclusive

Volato (TMB, Houston Hobby) no longer lists any aircraft under its Part 135 certificate following the removal of its final six HondaJet Elite and HondaJet Elite II jets, according to ch-aviation research. The delisted jets include N147CX, N229CX, N719SJ, N420XE, N420HB, and N135CX, all removed from certification by February 2025.
In 2024, Volato partnered with FlyExclusive, transferring full control of its fleet under an aircraft management services agreement. FlyExclusive began integrating Volato’s jets under its Part 135 certificate, starting with a HondaJet Elite S in November 2024. More recently, it inducted its first former Volato-operated HondaJet Elite II into its charter fleet.
At the start of 2024, Volato operated 28 jets under Part 135. While some HondaJets are now managed by FlyExclusive, four units have joined Leviate Jet Management’s Part 135 fleet. Additionally, Volato’s only Citation Bravo is now chartered by FLYUSA, while other jets, including a Hawker 750, are now privately operated in the U.S.
Meanwhile, Volato’s board approved a reverse share split on February 12, 2025. Effective February 24, every 25 pre-split shares will merge into one. This will reduce the company’s common shares from 46,096,315 to 1,843,853 shares.
Volato’s fleet restructuring and share consolidation mark a significant transition for the private aviation firm as it shifts away from operating Part 135-certified aircraft directly.
