AI and Automation Lead Hospitality Tech at HITEC 2025

The global hospitality industry converged in Indianapolis this week for HITEC 2025, where over 360 exhibitors showcased the latest in hotel technology. The event spotlighted advancements in artificial intelligence, automation, mobile tools, and integrated guest experience platforms—signaling a strong industry push toward digital transformation and operational efficiency.
Duetto introduced its new Revenue & Profit Operating System, a platform that consolidates pricing, forecasting, reporting, group optimization, loyalty, and profit insights in one interface. Aimed at unifying revenue streams, the system is powered by AI and automation. The company also launched GameTime, an RMS tailored for select-service and enterprise hotel brands, and announced AI-powered enhancements to its Advance pricing recommendation system.
Zucchetti North America unveiled Lybra Assistant, an RMS now being used by over 1,600 hotels across Europe. Designed for properties with more than 20 rooms, the system analyzes flight searches, market demand, competitor pricing, and booking trends to generate data-backed price recommendations for up to a year in advance.
RealTime Reservation announced a partnership with Trilogy Spa Holdings, rolling out its booking platform at The Plaza Hotel in New York later this month, with phased integration across Trilogy properties over the next 18 months.
Agilysys debuted several new technologies, including Agilysys Book with S.P.E.N.D., the Intelligent Guest Profile system, and IG Fly Mobile POS with FreedomPay integration. These tools focus on dynamic packaging, personalized booking experiences, and mobile ordering to support connected guest interactions.
RMS introduced a new booking engine optimized for mobile and desktop use. Designed to support chatbot integrations, discounts, and AI-driven journeys, the system also includes RMS Pay, enabling seamless transactions and guest interactions across devices.
Oracle Hospitality reported a 31% year-over-year growth in adoption of its Opera Cloud property management system. Used by brands such as Hyatt and Omni, Opera Cloud now features enhanced AI workflows that support operational optimization and improved guest engagement.
Nomadix showcased two major product updates: a cloud-native energy management solution that works with smart thermostats, and the EG 5K internet gateway designed to improve Wi-Fi security and reliability in midsize hotels with shared networks.
Relay introduced RelayM, a compact 5G communication device for housekeeping and mobile staff. Small enough to wear on a lanyard or shirt, RelayM combines communication, location tracking, panic alerts, and real-time multilingual translation through AI-powered Team Translate.
Phunware revealed new AI features for its mobile hospitality app, including property navigation, personalized offers, and targeted messaging. Designed to elevate guest experience, the tool streamlines communication between guests and hotel staff while improving operational responsiveness.
With AI, data integration, and mobile convenience dominating the agenda, this year’s HITEC highlighted how hospitality technology providers are working to future-proof operations and enhance guest experiences through smarter, more connected solutions.
