UK’s Titan Airways Adds First Embraer E190 Regional Jet

Titan Airways has expanded its fleet with the addition of its first Embraer E190, marking the carrier’s entry into regional jet operations. Registered as G-POWX (msn 19000543), the aircraft was officially added to the UK registry on June 26, 2025, and ferried from Maastricht to London Stansted the following day, according to Flightradar24 data.
The 2012-built E190 features a dual-class configuration with 97 seats, including nine in business class and 88 in economy. The aircraft is owned by Hagondale Limited, Titan Airways’ parent company. It was previously operated by Air Astana and MAI – Myanmar Airways International, according to ch-aviation data.
Titan Airways plans to deploy the E190 for ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) contracts and charter flights, diversifying its operational capabilities. While the airline did not comment on future fleet expansion, the move signals a strategic shift to include more flexible, right-sized aircraft for regional and short-haul missions.
This is Titan’s first commercial Embraer aircraft. The airline briefly operated a Legacy 650 business jet between 2010 and 2014 but has otherwise focused on Airbus narrowbody and widebody aircraft. Its current fleet includes two A320-200s, two A321-200s, three A321-200NX(LR)s, and one A330-300 converted freighter (P2F). Its Maltese subsidiary, Titan Airways Malta, operates three A321-200 freighters.
The introduction of the E190 positions Titan Airways to better serve regional markets and flexible charter needs while expanding its ACMI offerings across Europe and beyond.
