Air Arabia Expands Europe Routes From Sharjah for Winter 2025

Air Arabia is set to expand its European network this winter with three new routes launching from its Sharjah hub to Prague, Munich, and Warsaw Modlin. The additions mark a significant step in the airline’s growing presence across Europe for the 2025–26 winter season.
Flights to Prague will begin on December 4, operating four times a week. Daily service to Munich—Air Arabia’s first destination in Germany—will follow on December 15, with Warsaw Modlin flights commencing on December 20. All three routes are currently unserved.
With these additions, Air Arabia’s European network will grow to 19 destinations, including Athens, Krakow, Vienna, Milan Bergamo, and Warsaw Chopin. The airline also serves six Russian cities and continues to target high-demand leisure and business markets.
The new Munich route introduces competition on the UAE–Germany corridor, which is currently served only by Emirates and Etihad from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Air Arabia’s low-cost model and Sharjah International Airport’s proximity to Dubai offer an affordable alternative for travelers heading to the Gulf.
“Munich is a key cultural and business hub in Germany, making it an ideal addition to our network,” said Air Arabia Group CEO Adel Al Ali.
In Poland, Air Arabia’s move to operate from both Warsaw Chopin and Modlin reflects a strategy of targeting secondary airports to reduce operating costs while maintaining access to key cities. The Prague launch strengthens the carrier’s footprint in Central Europe, tapping into growing demand for affordable Gulf-Europe connectivity.
Air Arabia plans to increase winter capacity from Sharjah to Europe by 19% compared to the previous season.
