The latest global airline route developments for the week of July 7, 2025, highlight new service launches, expanded frequencies, and strategic network shifts across key regions.

July 9:
LATAM Airlines Brasil will extend its Fortaleza–Lisbon seasonal route through March 2026 and boost frequencies to 3X-weekly due to strong demand. Volaris has launched new U.S. routes from San Luis Potosí to Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. Pegasus Airlines debuted its Istanbul–Bristol service, expanding access to southwest England. EasyJet will launch Bordeaux–Hurghada flights from Oct. 29, while Air Senegal expands its codeshare with Royal Air Maroc to include Milan, Barcelona, Montreal, and Lyon via Casablanca.

July 8:
Vietjet added Hanoi–Xi’an to its growing China network, while TAAG Angola Airlines will launch Luanda–Nairobi flights from Sept. 1. Air Nostrum will expand domestic capacity in Spain, including routes to the Balearics and Melilla. Greater Bay Airlines will begin Hong Kong–Xuzhou flights on Aug. 1. Flybondi is ramping up service across Argentina and to Brazil, while Frontier started BWI–Chicago O’Hare flights. IndiGo added Mumbai–Adampur as its 92nd domestic destination.

July 7:
Flynas will open Riyadh–Moscow service from Aug. 1. Air Arabia will launch daily Sharjah–Warsaw Modlin flights in December. Turkish Airlines adds Istanbul–London Stansted in March 2026. Scoot will expand service to Vietnam and Malaysia, including new routes to Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Kota Bharu. EasyJet adds London Southend–Rovaniemi from Dec. 1. Norse Atlantic Airways will launch Thailand service from Oslo, Stockholm, and Manchester. Jazeera Airways introduces Kuwait–Yerevan. Greater Bay Airlines adds Hong Kong–Quanzhou and plans Sapporo flights. Volaris debuts routes from Los Cabos to Ontario and Zacatecas to Oakland.
