Holland America Adds Culinary Stars for 2026

Holland America Line is elevating its 2026 Grand Voyages with new culinary programming led by world-renowned chefs and artisans. Four additions to the line’s Culinary Ambassador Program will bring exclusive dining experiences to guests sailing on the Grand World Voyage and the Grand Australia and New Zealand Voyage.

Chef Masaharu Morimoto, famed for his innovative Japanese cuisine, will join the Grand World Voyage during its Sydney to Yokohama segment, where he will showcase fresh, locally inspired dishes in his home country of Japan. Seattle restaurateur Chef Ethan Stowell will also join the voyage between Yokohama and San Diego, highlighting Pacific flavors.

Master Tea Blender Steve Schwartz, founder and CEO of Art of Tea, will embark on the Singapore to Yokohama segment, guiding guests through curated tea experiences. Chocolatier Jacques Torres, known as “Mr. Chocolate,” will sail part of the Sydney to San Diego segment on the Grand Australia and New Zealand Voyage, where he will host tastings and a special Chocolate Teatime event when both voyages meet in Sydney on March 7, 2026.

The 2026 Grand World Voyage will last 122 days roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale aboard Volendam, while the 93-day Grand Australia and New Zealand Voyage departs San Diego on Zaandam. Guests can also book shorter segments ranging from 14 to 72 days on the Grand World Voyage and 33 to 60 days on the Grand Australia and New Zealand itinerary.

With these additions, Holland America is pairing legendary culinary talent with global exploration, creating a distinctive travel experience for food and culture enthusiasts alike.
