Embraer Q3 Deliveries Rise 5% to 62 Jets, Led by Phenom 300

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer reported higher deliveries in the third quarter of 2025, marking a 5% increase compared to the same period last year. The world’s third-largest planemaker handed over 62 jets between July and September, up from 59 a year earlier, according to a securities filing on October 2. Through the first nine months of 2025, Embraer delivered 46 commercial jets and 102 executive jets, keeping the company on track to meet its full-year delivery guidance.

Commercial aviation led Embraer’s growth in the 2025 third quarter, with the manufacturer delivering 20 jets—an increase of 25% year-on-year. The breakdown included 11 E195-E2s, 7 E175s, and 2 E190-E2s. Executive jet deliveries remained steady at 41 units, broadly in line with the same period last year. In the defense segment, Embraer delivered one KC-390 Millennium military transport aircraft, compared with two defense aircraft handed over in the third quarter of 2024.

The Phenom 300 once again proved to be Embraer’s best-selling business jet, representing nearly half of all executive jet deliveries in the quarter. The aircraft has consistently ranked as one of the world’s most popular light jets, appealing to private owners, corporate fleets, and charter operators alike.

The manufacturer forecasts between 77 and 85 commercial aircraft and 145 to 155 executive jets for the year. Analysts at Citi noted that while the Q3 performance was broadly in line with expectations, the figures may be seen as “lukewarm” by investors given the cautious outlook.

Investor sentiment reflected that caution. Shares of Embraer traded in São Paulo fell 5.8% on Thursday, making it one of the steepest decliners on Brazil’s benchmark Bovespa index, which closed down 1.1%.

Despite the market reaction, Embraer continues to emphasize its growth strategy across multiple segments. In commercial aviation, its E-Jet E2 family is competing against Airbus’s A220 in the regional jet space, with a focus on fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. In business aviation, the company is positioning the Phenom and Praetor families to capture strong demand in both North America and Europe, where private aviation remains resilient.

On the defense side, the KC-390 Millennium is steadily building its presence in international markets, with deliveries planned to air forces in Portugal, Hungary, and the Netherlands in the coming years.

The company is scheduled to release its third-quarter financial results on November 4, when investors will get a clearer picture of profitability, backlog trends, and cash flow.

For now, Embraer’s delivery performance signals steady, if measured, progress. While growth is modest compared to expectations, the balanced contributions from commercial, executive, and defense segments underscore the company’s diversified approach in a competitive global aerospace market.
