Pangea Buys Nomadago in Push to Unify Travel Apps

Pangea has acquired Nomadago, a platform designed to help digital nomads coordinate travel plans, marking its second acquisition in just a few weeks following its purchase of social travel app Overlap. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition is part of Pangea’s broader strategy to consolidate fragmented consumer travel apps and deliver a more unified experience for modern, multi-profile travelers. “Modern travelers are multifaceted; they’re a different persona each time they travel,” said Pangea founder and CEO Matt Gray. He noted that today’s travelers often shift between roles—remote worker, adventure seeker, business traveler—each requiring different tools and services. “Nomadago marks an important step in unifying these resources for travelers that tick more than one box.”

Nomadago will be fully integrated into Pangea’s platform, with all user profiles, trips and social connections migrating over. Founders Danny Burton, Ben Spicer and Victor Busk will join Pangea’s Advisory Board as part of the transition.

Burton said the acquisition aligns with Nomadago’s mission to make the digital nomad lifestyle easier and more connected. While the app becomes part of Pangea, Nomadago’s directory—which lists coliving spaces, coworking hubs and retreats—will remain available and will be integrated into Pangea’s ecosystem “over time.”

The move strengthens Pangea’s position as it builds a more cohesive, all-in-one platform for travelers navigating increasingly diverse travel lifestyles.
