Flightradar24 has entered into an agreement to supply flight data services to Boeing, giving the aircraft manufacturer access to one of the world’s largest repositories of live and historical flight tracking information. The partnership strengthens Boeing’s expanding digital services ecosystem and highlights the growing importance of data-driven insights in modern aircraft operations.

Under the agreement, Boeing will gain access to Flightradar24’s comprehensive flight data, generated from a global network of more than 55,000 ADS-B receivers. This infrastructure enables detailed tracking of aircraft movements worldwide, supporting applications ranging from operational analysis to maintenance planning and fleet performance optimization.

“This data service is one element of Boeing’s continued innovation and build-out of a robust digital services platform centered around improving fleet performance and maintenance outcomes for our customers,” said Crystal Remfert, Senior Director of Digital Services at Boeing Global Services. She added that the integration of Flightradar24’s data will enhance Boeing’s ability to deliver actionable insights across its customer base.

Founded in 2006, Flightradar24 has evolved from a flight-tracking website into a major data provider for the global aviation industry. Headquartered in Stockholm, the company supplies real-time and historical flight information to airlines, airports, air navigation service providers, aerospace manufacturers, and other aviation stakeholders. Its platform tracks up to 250,000 flights per day, making it one of the most comprehensive sources of commercial flight movement data available.

Boeing said Flightradar24’s datasets will complement its existing advanced analytics capabilities, allowing the company to refine predictive maintenance tools, improve aircraft reliability, and support more efficient fleet operations. Enhanced visibility into real-world aircraft usage patterns can help airlines reduce downtime, optimize maintenance schedules, and improve overall operational resilience.

For Flightradar24, the agreement represents a significant endorsement of its data quality and technical capabilities. “We are proud to collaborate with Boeing, one of the world’s most respected aerospace companies,” said Lasse Schmidt Westrén, Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Flightradar24. He noted that the partnership reflects the company’s broader strategy of supporting aviation decision-makers with accurate, high-resolution flight data.

The deal also underscores a broader industry trend toward deeper collaboration between aircraft manufacturers and data specialists. As airlines face increasing pressure to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety, access to high-quality operational data has become a critical competitive advantage.

By integrating Flightradar24’s live and historical flight data into its digital services portfolio, Boeing is positioning itself to deliver more sophisticated analytics and stronger lifecycle support for its commercial aircraft customers, reinforcing the role of data as a cornerstone of next-generation aviation services.
