Embraer Executive Jets Backlog Hits Record $7.6bn in 2025

Embraer reported a record backlog of USD7.6 billion in its executive aviation division in the fourth quarter of 2025, underscoring another year of strong performance for its business jet portfolio.
The backlog represented a 3% increase year over year and a 4% rise compared with the third quarter of 2025. Embraer said the growth translated into a solid book-to-bill ratio of 1.1x for the full year, reflecting sustained demand across both light and medium jet categories.
Embraer delivered 53 executive jets in the fourth quarter, a 20% increase from 44 aircraft delivered in the same period of 2024. Fourth-quarter deliveries accounted for nearly 34% of the company’s full-year total, slightly below the five-year average of 43%, which management said reflects a more balanced delivery profile rather than heavy year-end concentration.
For the full year, Embraer delivered a record 155 executive aircraft, reaching the upper end of its previously announced guidance range of 145 to 155 units. The result marked the highest annual total in the company’s history for executive aviation. Looking ahead, Embraer said it expects deliveries to increase further in 2026, supported by its ongoing production levelling initiatives.
Light jets continued to be a key growth driver. Embraer delivered 28 light jets in the fourth quarter, five more than in the third quarter of 2025 and six more than in the fourth quarter of 2024. Full-year light jet deliveries rose to 86 aircraft, up from 75 in 2024.
The light jet total included 14 Phenom 100 aircraft, compared with 10 delivered in 2024, and 72 Phenom 300s, up from 65 a year earlier. The Phenom 300 remained the best-selling light business jet globally, supported by strong demand from fleet operators, charter providers, and private owners.
Medium jet deliveries also showed significant growth. Embraer delivered 25 medium jets in the fourth quarter, seven more than in the third quarter of 2025 and three more than in the same period of 2024. For the full year, medium jet deliveries reached 69 aircraft, a sharp increase from 55 delivered in 2024.
The growth in the medium jet segment was driven by continued demand for the Praetor family. Embraer delivered 39 Praetor 500 aircraft in 2025, compared with 28 the previous year, and 30 Praetor 600s, up from 27 in 2024. The company said customers continue to value the Praetor models for their range, cabin size, and advanced avionics, particularly in North America and Europe.
Embraer said the record backlog and delivery performance highlight the resilience of the executive aviation market and the competitiveness of its product lineup. With demand remaining strong and production stabilising, the manufacturer expects executive aviation to remain a key contributor to its overall financial performance in the coming years.
