Palladium Hotel Group, a Spanish hospitality company with more than five decades of experience, continues to sharpen its global strategy around quality, brand differentiation, and close collaboration with travel advisors. Owned by Grupo Empresas Matutes, the group today operates more than 40 hotels and over 13,000 rooms and residences across eight countries, spanning Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, with a portfolio that ranges from all-inclusive resorts to lifestyle and luxury concepts.

In a wide-ranging conversation, Ana Morillo, Corporate Managing Director at Palladium Hotel Group, described 2025 as a year defined less by headline numbers and more by elevating standards across the portfolio. The company focused heavily on enhancing service quality, gastronomy, and entertainment, particularly across its Caribbean resorts, while also celebrating a major milestone in Europe with the opening of The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel. The property marked a bold step into experiential luxury hospitality and became home to Gordon Ramsay’s first Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in Europe.

The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel represents a new direction for the group, blending avant-garde design, immersive entertainment, and highly personalized service in Playa d’en Bossa. Born from the evolution of Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, the concept is designed for international growth, with its first project outside Spain planned for 2027 at Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

Among the standout achievements of 2025 was a $61.5 million renovation in Punta Cana, including the reopening of Grand Palladium Select Bávaro and the debut of the Family Selection club outside Mexico for the first time. The revitalized resort features redesigned guestrooms, pools, new dining venues, and refreshed programming for guests of all ages. These developments underscore the group’s commitment to reinvention and personalization within a comprehensive all-inclusive ecosystem.

Palladium Hotel Group also introduced the Grand Palladium Select Collection in 2025, now available in Costa Mujeres, Riviera Maya, and Ibiza, further refining its guest-centric approach. Expansion plans continue in Jamaica with the addition of a TRS Hotels adults-only concept, adding more than 900 rooms and strengthening the brand’s presence in the destination.

Travel advisors remain central to the group’s strategy. In 2025, Palladium deepened these relationships through global trade events and the expansion of Palladium PRO, a loyalty program designed to reward advisors, wedding planners, and event organizers while supporting the growing demand for multigenerational and group travel.

Looking ahead, the group has ambitious plans across multiple regions. Upcoming openings include BLESS Hotel Barcelona, the debut of BLESS Hotels in Vietnam, and continued consolidation in Ibiza with a mix of all-inclusive, lifestyle, and luxury properties. International growth will also see the launch of Only YOU Hotel New York, alongside future Only YOU Hotels in Venice and Ibiza, reinforcing Palladium Hotel Group’s long-term vision to diversify its portfolio while entering high-potential global markets.
