Hurtigruten 2027-28 Norway Fjord Voyages

Hurtigruten will debut a series of new voyages for the 2027-28 season, expanding its premium, all-inclusive Signature concept with three “Limited Collection” itineraries across Norway’s coastline.
The new sailings will explore rugged western fjords and lesser-visited communities such as Rosendal, Skjolden and Eidfjord. Staying true to Hurtigruten’s expedition heritage, captains will retain flexibility to adapt routes based on weather and sea conditions, aiming to deliver optimal scenery, wildlife encounters and seasonal highlights.
In addition to the Limited Collection voyages, Hurtigruten is introducing new 11- and 12-day itineraries that begin or end in Copenhagen, Denmark, or Tromsø, Norway. Copenhagen offers up to 16 nonstop routes to Canada and the United States, while Tromsø has seen an increase in international air connections in recent years. The new embarkation options are designed to improve accessibility for North American travelers seeking Norwegian coastal cruises.
All voyages will operate between April 2027 and May 2028 aboard the recently renovated MS Trollfjord. Guests can expect all-inclusive dining and beverages, daily lectures from the expedition team and the brand’s Norway’s Coastal Kitchen program, which highlights locally sourced ingredients from communities along the route.
To mark the launch, Hurtigruten is offering up to $500 in onboard credit per cabin for guests who book by April 30, 2026.
According to CEO Hedda Felin, the new voyages are built on generations of coastal knowledge, enabling captains to shape each sailing around the day’s natural conditions. She emphasized that the itineraries are designed for travelers who want to connect deeply with Norway’s landscapes and culture rather than simply pass through.
The Limited Collection includes three distinct programs. The Inner Fjords Explorer is an eight-day spring and fall sailing from Bergen that ventures deep into Lysefjord, Hardangerfjord, Sognefjord and Nordfjord, marking the company’s first fjord-only itinerary. The Arctic Circle Explorer is an eight-day winter roundtrip from Tromsø that remains entirely within the Arctic Circle, visiting Lofoten, Alta and Honningsvåg, with strong northern lights viewing potential. The Arctic Line is an 11- or 12-day winter voyage between Copenhagen and Tromsø, tracing Norway’s coastline with extended stays in Alta and Tromsø and multiple days under the auroral oval.
