Aero-Dienst, based in Nuremberg, has expanded its fleet with the addition of its first Bombardier Global 5500 business jet. The aircraft, registered as D-ARCG (msn 60141), was delivered on December 5, 2024, from Bombardier’s facility in Montréal Trudeau and is now operating under Aero-Dienst’s code, ADN.

This marks the company’s debut in operating a Bombardier Global jet, complementing its current fleet, which includes a Challenger 300, Challenger 3500, two Fairchild Dornier Do328-300s, and two Learjet 60XRs. Aero-Dienst recently retired its only Dassault Falcon 7X as part of its fleet modernization strategy.

The acquisition highlights Aero-Dienst’s commitment to offering advanced business aviation solutions. The Global 5500 is known for its extended range and cutting-edge technology, aligning with the company’s focus on efficiency and premium services.

Aero-Dienst, a subsidiary of Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC SE), also supports air ambulance operations. ADAC has placed an order for a Challenger 650, expected to join the fleet in 2026, specifically configured for medical transport. The new Challenger will complement Aero-Dienst’s existing air ambulance fleet, which includes the Dornier and Learjet aircraft already in service.

With this addition, Aero-Dienst strengthens its position in the business aviation market, offering a versatile fleet to meet diverse customer needs, including corporate travel and specialized medical missions. The Bombardier Global 5500 underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and service excellence in the aviation sector.
