AeroTAC Expands Fleet with First Learjet 35A in Chile
AeroTAC, a prominent air ambulance service based in Santiago de Chile, has recently expanded its fleet by acquiring its first Learjet 35A, a significant addition to its air medical operations. The aircraft, now registered as CC-DLL (msn 35A-334), was officially listed on January 14, 2025, according to ch-aviation research.
This Learjet 35A, aging 44.4 years, previously bore the registration N235MC in the United States. Despite its age, the aircraft is renowned for its reliability and performance in various aviation roles, including medical evacuation. It was ferried to Chile on June 1, 2024, several months before its official registration, suggesting preparation for its integration into AeroTAC’s operational fleet.
AeroTAC operates a diverse fleet tailored to specialized air ambulance services, which now includes this Learjet alongside two Citation IIs, a Citation II/SP, a Cessna 210N, a King Air E90, a King Air B200, and six Piper PA-31s. The company maintains strategic bases across Chile, including Antofagasta, Coyhayque, Santiago de Chile, and Punta Arenas International, facilitating prompt and efficient medical transport services across the region.
