Aerticket Acquires Servivuelo to Expand Spanish Market Reach

Aerticket, a leading airline ticket wholesaler, has acquired Madrid-based flight consolidator Servivuelo for an undisclosed sum, strengthening its foothold in Spain. Founded in 2003, Servivuelo serves around 11,500 travel agencies with advanced booking technology and competitive airfares.
The acquisition bolsters Aerticket Group’s presence in the Spanish market, where it has operated through its Majorca-based subsidiary Aerticket S.L.U. since 2010. Holger Taubmann, Aerticket’s COO, highlighted Servivuelo’s valuable experience and its strong market position on South American routes, particularly to Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and the Dominican Republic.
“Servivuelo is an enrichment for our group, and we fully retain its experienced management team and staff,” said Taubmann. He confirmed that the Servivuelo brand will remain intact while expanding its offerings to Aerticket’s global network of travel agencies.
Jorge Zamora, Servivuelo’s founder and outgoing CEO, expressed optimism about the merger, stating that joining Aerticket opens new growth opportunities for the company, its employees, and its customers.
The move follows Aerticket’s strategic expansion pattern, including the acquisition of Scandinavian consolidator Inca Tickets in 2024 and Belgian consolidator Skyways in 2022. The company continues to grow its international reach, providing innovative booking solutions and expanded airfare content across key global markets.
