AI to help airport ensure smooth passenger experience

The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport will implement AI software to help predict passenger arrival times in order to reduce crowding and ensure a smooth and efficient experience from the time passengers park at the facility until they board the plane. The software development is a coveted grant from the Airport Cooperative Research Program and is supported by the Federal Aviation Administration, the Virginia Space Grant Consortium and The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine.
