Air Caraïbes, Caribbean Airlines Ink Codeshare Deal

Air Caraïbes and Caribbean Airlines have announced a new codeshare agreement designed to expand travel options across the Caribbean region. Under the partnership, Air Caraïbes will place its flight code on select Caribbean Airlines services, enabling seamless connectivity from Paris-Orly to additional destinations in the southern Caribbean.
The agreement allows Air Caraïbes customers to book single-ticket itineraries from France to key islands served by Caribbean Airlines, simplifying travel arrangements and baggage transfers. The codeshare also strengthens the carrier’s long-haul network, which already includes regular flights from Paris-Orly to Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe and Fort-de-France in Martinique—both major Caribbean hubs.
For Caribbean Airlines, the partnership brings greater visibility in the European market and access to a steady stream of French travelers heading to the region’s vacation hotspots. The Trinidad and Tobago-based airline operates an extensive network of routes throughout the Caribbean, Guyana, and North America, making it a natural partner for Air Caraïbes’ transatlantic services.
Air Caraïbes said the agreement underscores its strategy of offering more flexible travel choices and convenient onward connections, while Caribbean Airlines highlighted the opportunity to boost tourism and trade between the Caribbean and Europe.
The codeshare arrangement comes as demand for Caribbean travel continues to recover strongly, supported by new leisure trends and rising passenger numbers. Both carriers plan to evaluate additional routes under the partnership in the future, aiming to create a more integrated air travel experience between Europe and the Caribbean.
