Air China Launches New Service Between Beijing and Vladivostok
Air China launched its inaugural flight from Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) to Vladivostok International Airport (VVO) on March 31, 2025. The flight, designated CA 811, took off from Beijing at 13:01 local time and landed in Vladivostok at 17:00 local time, completing the nearly two-hour journey.
The new Beijing-Vladivostok service will operate on a scheduled basis, with flights set to depart every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Air China will use its Boeing 737-800 aircraft for these flights, offering regular and convenient connections between the two cities.
Upon arrival in Vladivostok, the B737-800 was greeted with a traditional water salute. The event was marked by a ceremony attended by officials, including Wang Jun, the acting Consul General of China in Vladivostok.
Denis Chmutov, General Manager of Vladivostok International Airport, expressed excitement about the new service, noting that Air China’s first scheduled flight between the two cities would help enhance regional business and tourism exchanges. “This flight will create the necessary conditions for strengthening ties between the regions,” Chmutov said.
With the addition of this new route, the total number of flights between Vladivostok and Beijing is expected to exceed 20 per week, further boosting travel and connectivity between China and the Russian Far East. This new service is expected to offer travelers more options for business, tourism, and cultural exchanges between the two regions.
