Air India Flight AI 379 Makes Emergency Landing at Phuket Airport After Bomb Threat

Phuket International Airport received a bomb threat involving Air India Flight AI 379 during its flight on Friday. The airport announced the incident at 9:30 AM, citing data from the Aeronautical Radio of Thailand.
The pilot of AI 379, traveling from Phuket (HKT) to Delhi (DEL) with 156 passengers, reported the onboard threat and requested an emergency landing at Phuket International Airport.
Following standard safety protocols, Phuket Airport activated its Airport Contingency Plan (ACP), Chapter 3, for bomb threats. Officials confirmed all necessary precautions were in place, with ongoing updates as the situation unfolded.
