At the Paris Air Show 2025, Air Tahiti revealed plans to operate one of its newly ordered ATR72-600 aircraft in an exclusive all-business-class configuration, aimed at luxury travelers flying between the islands of French Polynesia. The aircraft will feature the premium ‘ATR HighLine’ cabin and launch a new VIP-only service beginning in the second half of 2026.

Part of a four-aircraft deal signed in July 2024, this particular ATR72-600 will offer 26 individual business-class seats arranged in a 1-by-1 layout, each equipped with Geven’s ETEREA seat. Passengers can expect 21.6-inch seat width, 39-inch pitch, 7-inch recline, USB A+C ports, a personal side console, dedicated stowage, and panoramic views through large windows.

This marks the official debut of Air Tahiti’s new premium service, which will initially connect iconic destinations such as Bora Bora and Raiatea. The new aircraft will enhance both flight comfort and sustainability, as ATR’s turboprops are known for their low emissions and short runway performance.

Air Tahiti CEO Edouard Wong Fat emphasized the airline’s vision: “We are not only renewing our fleet but launching a high-end travel experience that reflects the beauty and spirit of our islands.”

ATR SVP Commercial Alexis Vidal added, “Air Tahiti’s VIP configuration represents growing demand for premium, low-emission regional travel. It’s more than comfort—it’s about elevating the journey from the moment guests board.”

Air Tahiti currently operates 13 ATR aircraft and connects 48 islands across Polynesia, offering a network as vast as Europe. The HighLine cabin sets a new standard for regional travel in paradise.
