AirArabia announces first ever direct flight from Milan BGY to UAE

The Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) operator, announces the launch of the new flight to Sharjah

Starting December 7th 2022, the new AirArabia flight will link four times weekly Milan Bergamo Airport with Sharjah International Airport, located a few kilometers from the city center and just twenty minutes from Dubai.

Air Arabia operates the Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR aircraft, the most modern and best-selling single aisle aircraft in the world. The cabin configuration across Air Arabia’s fleet provides added comfort with one of the most generous seat-pitch of any economy cabin. The aircraft is also equipped with “SkyTime”, a free in-flight streaming service that will allows passengers to stream a wide selection of entertainment directly to their devices. Before flights, eligible travellers can also benefit from the City Check-in service where they can drop off their bags and collect their boarding passes at the Air Arabia Sales Shops spread across the UAE.

Sharjah will be the first ever direct connection to the United Arab Emirates from Milan BGY.

This new flight confirms the strong partnership between Milan BGY and AirArabia which already flies to Alexandria, Casablanca and Cairo, making BGY one of the key European airports of their network.

The new flight will also allow passengers to connect from Sharjah to over 60 destinations in Africa, Asia and the Middle East served by Air Arabia
