Airbus Delivers 56 Jets in April, Down 8% Year Over Year

Airbus delivered 56 aircraft in April 2025, marking an 8% decline compared to the same month last year. The European aircraft manufacturer has now delivered 192 aircraft in the first four months of the year, down 5% year over year, as ongoing supply chain issues continue to affect production.
Despite these challenges, Airbus maintains its full-year delivery target of around 820 commercial aircraft. The company has acknowledged that engine supply delays are a key factor behind the delivery slowdown, and expects the impact to intensify in the current quarter before improving later in the year.
Of the 56 aircraft delivered in April, the majority were narrowbody jets. The A321neo led deliveries with 27 units handed over to airlines such as IndiGo, Wizz Air, Pegasus Airlines, and China Southern Airlines. Airbus also delivered 15 A320neo aircraft and one A319neo.
In the widebody segment, Airbus delivered one A330-900 each to Kuwait Airways and Malaysia Airlines, along with four A350s—three A350-900s for Starlux Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and Delta Air Lines, and one A350-1000 for Etihad Airways. Deliveries in April were spread across 33 customers worldwide.
Airbus also received 11 new orders in April, including 10 A350-1000s for China Airlines and one A321neo for an undisclosed customer, bringing total net orders for the year to 215.
In its Q1 2025 financial results, Airbus reported revenue of €13.5 billion ($15.24 billion), up 6% year on year, and reaffirmed its guidance for 2025, including €7 billion in adjusted EBIT and €4.5 billion in free cash flow.
