Airbus receives no new orders in May but no cancellations either

Airbus has reported that it has received no new orders for its aircraft, but has also suffered no cancellations. For 2020, orders for the European aircraft manufacturer total 365 and net orders – at 299 aircraft.

In May Airbus handed over 24 types ranging from the A220, A320 and A350 XWB series.

According to an Airbus spokesperson: “The following deliveries were made: two A220-300 to Air Canada and 18 A320 family aircraft including the first A320neo to Wizz Air.”

For Airbus widebody aircraft, four A350 XWBs were provided in both A350-900 (Air France and Lufthansa Technik) and A350-100 (Etihad Airways and British Airways) configurations.
