Aircraft Transport Service, based in Goodyear, has resumed its Citation operations with the addition of its first Citation II aircraft to its Part 135-certified fleet. The new aircraft, registered as N772SB with manufacturer serial number 550-0498, is a 40.9-year-old Citation II that was previously operated privately in the United States. It is currently parked at Sherman North Texas Regional, which served as its last base of operation.
The company had a history of operating other Citation jets. Between 2021 and 2023, Aircraft Transport Service operated two Citation Bravo jets, and from 2017 until 2021, it operated two Citation X jets. The introduction of the Citation II marks the resumption of operations for the Citation family under the carrier’s current Part 135 certification. The new addition now joins a diverse fleet that includes two GIV-SPs, two GVs, three King Air C90s, and a King Air B200.

One notable operation involved one of its GV aircraft, registered as N176SM with manufacturer serial number 637, which was chartered by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in early March 2025. This particular flight was used to deport eight Nepali nationals. The flight operated from Mesa Gateway Airport, making stops at Fort Worth Alliance, Portsmouth, and Tirana before reaching Kathmandu. This operation highlights the versatility and reliability of the carrier’s fleet in handling diverse mission requirements.
