Airlines looking forward to business travel recovery

Southwest, American Airlines, Delta and United are among the major carriers closely monitoring the path of business travel recovery, with executives noting that the demand for corporate travel is working to gain momentum and has not matched the demand for leisure travel. “As we’re developing our plans and forecast for this year, we’re working to build an airline that can be profitable even without the full return of managed corporate travel,” said American Airlines CEO Robert Isom.
