Airlines mark Pearl Harbor anniversary

US airlines reflected on the 80th anniversary of Pearl Harbor: American Airlines flew 63 World War II veterans to Hawaii for a week-long trip; Southwest Airlines highlighted its role in transporting the remains of Marines and sailors identified decades after the attack; and Hawaiian Airlines’ Women in Aviation employee resource group and other female mechanics and engineers met two nonagenarians who shared their memories of Pearl Harbor and how they helped build aircraft and ships during the war.
