Airlines predict a busy summer travel season

US airlines are preparing for what they anticipate will be a big summer travel season. Carriers have forecasted robust demand for Memorial Day weekend and beyond as travelers return to the skies for vacations and reunions with loved ones. “Demand for the airline product has indeed never been higher and it continues to grow out there,” said Vasu Raja, chief commercial officer at American Airlines.
